Research Objectives & Development Direction Roadmap

Build research capabilities that can actively respond in real time by securing new concept technologies that can be applied in the future in advance.
And aim to preoccupy a wide range of fields by developing system designs and core modules that are suitable for this.
To this end, we focus our core competencies on the following fields to establish a leading position in the same industry and develop products that are helpful to mankind.

  1. 1. High-speed signal processing

    • - Adopt of standard OpenVPX 6U Form Factor
    • - Development Dual Intel XEON SBC (Single Board Computer)
    • - Adopt PCIe Full-Mesh Topology and apply Xilinx Kintex FPGA
    • - Implement super-integrated PCB Artwork (Build-up via, Back-drill, Micro via)
    • - Secure integrity analysis capabilities (SI: Signal Integrity, PI: Power Integrity)
  2. 2. Low-orbit satellite

    • - Develop high-speed PAT Transceiver technology modem for laser communication between satellites
    • - Develop Beam hopping MF-TDMA satellite-mounted modem
    • - Design Xilinx Versal, RFSoC applied hardware
    • - Design LDPC-based error correction coding algorithm
    • - Design SoC/AI and GTY/GTH high-performance FPGA logic
  3. 3. Urban air traffic

    • - Develop Korean terrain adaptive location monitoring system using ADS-B
    • - Target at less than 7.5m (95%) location accuracy and 99.9% detection rate
    • - Secure UAM (Urban Air Traffic) and low-altitude aircraft (including drones) location tracking/monitoring capabilities
